Anna’s areas of focus include international and UK estate and succession planning, lasting powers of attorney, advising trustees and beneficiaries on a variety of matters including trust law and immigration issues.
Anna obtained a first-class honours degree in Politics and Sociology from the University of Glasgow, followed by the graduate entry LLB from the University of Edinburgh. She later completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP, both in London, passing with distinction.
Anna joined MTG as a trainee and qualified in November 2021.
Expertise
Anna assists on advising trustees, beneficiaries and settlors on all matters relating to the structuring, establishment and ongoing administration of trusts, including amendments to trust deeds, the making of distributions and the retirement and appointment of trustees.
Anna has experience advising individuals and families on a wide variety of applications from applications for British citizenship, Indefinite Leave to Remain, family applications, along with applications related to Appendix EU and under the Points Based System.
Anna also advises businesses, helping them navigate the complexities of staff mobility, and relocation to the UK. She has experience advising on Sponsor Licence applications, Skilled Worker visas and ongoing advice to employers regarding their duties and responsibilities and Sponsor Licence renewals.
